Roles

• Community: rules accepted.
• Verified: wallet signature verified.
• Hodler: the connected wallet holds at least one ADA Handle.

Hodler is optional. There is no requirement to own a Handle.

Verify your wallet

1. Open #start-here.
2. Read #rules-and-info and follow the confirmation instruction at the end.
3. Click Verify wallet or run /verify.
4. Open the one-time link.
5. Connect the wallet and sign the verification message.
6. Joi assigns Verified after the backend confirms the signature.
7. If the connected address holds at least one ADA Handle, Joi also assigns Hodler.

The signature does not create a transaction and does not move funds.

Scope

Verification checks the connected payment address. There is no manual Handle fallback and no requirement for a specific Handle.

Hodler status is rechecked weekly. Verification links expire after 180 days without activity.

Community permissions

• Verified can post links, but not files or embeds.
• Hodler can post links, files and embeds.
• Joi reports suspicious Hodler activity but never bans, kicks, times out or deletes Hodler messages. Only an administrator can ban a Hodler.

Safety

Never share a seed phrase, private key, password or an unexplained signature.
