Incident runbook

Discord bot down

1. Check systemctl --user status handlelend-discord.
2. Check the journal.
3. Verify .env permissions and token presence.
4. Restart the service.
5. Test /about and /verify.

Backend down

1. Check systemctl status handlelend-backend.
2. Check /api/health.
3. Check MariaDB and provider status.
4. Restart and inspect logs.

Token exposure

1. Revoke/reset the exposed token.
2. Update the secret store.
3. Restart affected service.
4. Review logs and permissions.

Contract issue

1. Stop new listings for the affected version.
2. Preserve existing escrow access.
3. Publish a migration or recovery plan.
4. Do not silently change a deployed validator.
